Come Visit

Coal Creek Labrador Retrievers is located in Montrose, in the heart of Western Colorado.  Once your full payment is received, we welcome you to pick up your new companion as early as 8 weeks old. While you’re in the area, we recommend a few of our favorite places to visit.  It’s no secret that Montrose is home to the Black Canyon National Park, a canyon so deep, some places never see the light of day. If you enjoy hiking or fishing, we have the splendid Uncompahgre National Forest and Grand Mesa within driving distance.  If you drive south, you can scoot around on a Stand Up Paddle (SUP) with your new water-loving companion on deck at the Ridgway State Park.  If you visit during the winter, you can take a quick trip and do some world-class skiing in Telluride.  Wherever you go, the San Juan Mountains will add a beautiful backdrop for all those selfies of you and your new White Labrador Retriever!

Fly-In

The Montrose Regional Airport (MTJ) offers year-round, nonstop travel services from Denver and Dallas.  During the warmer months, the airport offers nonstop flights from Houston, Chicago, and Phoenix.  MTJ works with three renown airline carriers: American Airlines, United Airlines, and Great Lakes Airlines (United).  When you arrive in Montrose, there are a number of rental car agencies, airport shuttle services, and dog-friendly hotels nearby.  Buyers are responsible for flight arrangements and expenses. Also, please check with your airline carrier for the requirements for traveling with a pet. Most airlines require a soft-shell carrier, and charge additional fees. When you pick up your new companion, you will be provided with a health certificate in your new puppy packet.  You may need to present this when boarding your flight.  For your convenience, we are happy to meet you at the airport to deliver your new White Labrador Retriever.

Ground Transportation

Ground transportation is another option for those living within the region.  This option will be decided on a case-by-case scenario, and the fees will be determined by the length of travel.  This is an excellent way to connect with your new puppy, for we can guarantee comfortable travel with food, water, and plenty of potty breaks.  Please contact us to discuss this option.
